If you'd like to try to catch a big shark while fishing with us, let us know in advance so we can have everything prepared to give you the best experience possible.  To fish for sharks, you'll need to go deep sea fishing on a 6-hour charter or longer.  With a 6-hour charter, there will be time to try to catch a few fish for your supper and maybe also hook a big shark.  

Most of the sharks we catch in these waters are bull sharks, usually close to 100 pounds or up to 200 pounds.  The biggest one we've caught was over 350 pounds!  Any of them can put up a good fight on the line.

When fishing for sharks, we put down a shark line, using special tackle and 250-pound braid line that's strong enough to withstand the strength of a powerful shark.  When you hook a big shark, be prepared for the fight of a lifetime!  You'll have a mate next to you the whole time, coaching you and ready to help.  And trust us, you'll need the help!  Sharks have a lot of muscle and attitude, and they put up a serious fight!  Usually, everyone on the boat has a turn at battling one of these big fish.  

Typically, we'll also be fishing for other fish while shark-fishing, so there's plenty of action while you're waiting for that big bite.  There's no chance for boredom when you're catching other beautiful fish on the side!  It all adds up to an unforgettable day on the water-- one we believe you'll be talking about for years to come.
